WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE?
I tend to use whatever is handy (and cheap!), but some personal favourites for drawing are Staedtler Mars Lumograph pencils (all grades from 6H --> 6B), smooth watercolour paper or similar (Strathmore Bristol is amazing but frustratingly hard to find in Australia). My go-to sketchbooks are the hard cover Moleskine Art Series. I also recently fell in love with Prismacolor pencils and have always had a soft spot for inks like Ecoline coloured inks, black Indian or Chinese drawing/calligraphy ink, and Windsor & Newton gold ink. I also recently have been using a Pentel brush pen with black ink cartridges that I got on eBay.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DRAWING?
Basically forever? I don't remember ever not drawing but I guess I started to take it a bit more seriously when I was about 15-16.

DID YOU STUDY ART?
I went to a high school with a special art program (although I actually didn't get into the program for years... but that's another story) so I guess that was the beginning of my 'studies'. I then went straight from school to Curtin University to study Fine Art, however I ended up only half completing my degree and haven't made it back to uni to finish it yet... Maybe someday?

CAN I GET YOUR DRAWING TATTOOED ON ME?
Sure!
HOWEVER: If you will be paying a tattoo artist a big chunk of money for them to tattoo my design onto your skin, please consider extending your budget enough to purchase a print or other item from my online store. Even the purchase of one print shows your support for my work - and hopefully this is something you want to do as you like my work enough to want to wear it on your skin for ever. If you would prefer not to purchase a print but would still like to support me by way of a fee, please contact me.

DO YOU DO COMMISSIONED DRAWINGS?
I am always open to discussing commissioned artworks, feel free to get in touch for a quote. Please bear in mind the style and content of my usual drawings when thinking of commissioning me to create something for you. For instance, most of the time I'm unlikely to accept requests to draw someone's mum / dad / baby / grandparents in the traditional sense. I am also hesitant to take on tattoo commissions as I have no experience in the field of tattoo artistry, but hit me up anyway and we can discuss the possibility.

CAN YOU PAINT A MURAL AT MY HOUSE / SHOP / CAFE / PUB / SKYSCRAPER?
Hell yeah! I've had a great time over the last couple of years diving into the world of mural painting and am always looking for new opportunities to expand my skills and paint my best mural yet. Even if you are on the other side of the country (or the world!) get in touch for a quote and to discuss your ideas as I'm always up for a bit of arty travelling.

CAN WE COLLABORATE?
Perhaps! Flick me an email and let me know what you've got in mind.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GICLÉE AND DIGITAL PRINTS IN YOUR ONLINE SHOP?

The first sets of limited edition prints I ever sourced were Digital prints, and many of these are still listed in my store. This process involves the ink being rolled directly onto the paper and can therefore give a 'shiny' effect to the finished printed area, similar to a laser printed document. Whilst these are still high quality prints, they are cheaper to produce than Giclée prints. In recent months, I have taken the leap to only producing giclée prints from this point onward as the quality of the ink / print itself, along with the textured cotton rag it is printed on, give a much nicer overall look and feel. I think you'll agree. :-)

I EMAILED YOU AND YOU HAVEN'T REPLIED. WHAT GIVES?
Sorry! Often I am juggling a few projects at once (murals, commissions, shop orders, etc) along with all the nitty gritty stuff that comes with running a business on your own (invoicing, social media, accounting, meetings, emailing)...  and these means sometimes I end up having to leave emails for a week or two before I can sit down and reply properly. Sometimes I can miss the email altogether as I get a lot of enquiries -- feel free to send me a follow up if you don't hear back for a while. I appreciate your patience!
If your enquiry is urgent, please note this in the email subject line so that I can make a point of getting back to you ASAP.

I WANT TO BUY ONE OF YOUR FRAMED ARTWORKS ONLINE. WHY DOES THE SHIPPING SAY $0?

Currently, my website builder / host doesn't allow for 'Get a shipping quote' as an option at checkout, so as a workaround I've allowed the shipping cost for framed works to be zero. That way if you are a local, you can pick the piece up from Fremantle (WA) for free, OR if you need the item shipped to you, I can determine the exact cost of shipment to your location. If this is the case, it is best if you email me BEFORE placing your order so that I can ensure you are happy with the cost of shipping before you commit to buying the piece. The shipping cost will then be charged separately to the order cost.
